Coffee … nectar of the gods, Go Go juice, Cup of Joe, Java, cafe, Bean juice, cup of mud, mojo, high test, liquid energy. No matter how you put it, I love coffee.
I have a serious coffee habit. I am down from three pots a day to one (maybe two on a bad day). I have been a coffee drinker since I was a toddler. My mom says she used to give me a quarter cup of coffee and fill the rest up with hot milk. In the last few years I have given up bread, gluten, sugar and a sedentary lifestyle but I refuse to give up my coffee. A friend of mine can’t write without a cigarette. She quit smoking over a year ago and hasn’t written a word since. I am afraid that would happen to me too if I gave up my coffee cup.

I’m pretty sure anyone who works cannot live without coffee, any one who can are super human!

I can’t get over the people who can function without a morning jolt. It makes me very suspicious. Are they another life form?

I must be another life form. Very rarely drink coffee and it always always has to be accompanied by something disgustingly sweet. Now I need a cake!

I love coffee, too — I limit myself to 1 cup a day… otherwise I might get really addicted!

Got ill a decade or so and when i recovered didn’t like coffee any more (and suddenly developed a taste for tuna!) Very odd but wrote a novel since so not an end to creativity or a working life, honest. Have since discovered the delights of Ear Grey tea but I’m not going to pretend it’s comparable

I like Earl Grey in the afternoon. My daughter has got me hooked on Lady Grey too.

I have got to have my big coffee in the morning (I make it at home–nothing fancy). The rest of the day, unless I’m really super tired and need to stay awake, I drink tea. Earl Grey and/or green tea. But if you take my morning mug away, there will be blood.

I’m trying to cut back on my coffee consumption (no coffee after 5 and drinking out of smaller cups) but am having trouble with it. I drink tea but it doesn’t give me the kick I get from coffee.
